                                     The 3D perception is based on the fact picture perceived by the right eye is
                                     slightly different from the one perceived by the left eye. This is because the
                                     different point of view (parallax) of each eye. Then the brain perceives the
                                     depth of each picture element.
 
                                                                          
                                     To restore this rule on a flat picture, we need a system which allows us to generate
                                      a different picture depending on the vision angle.
                                      The lenticular sheet gives us the solution.
                                      It is a transparent plastic plate with the following surface components:
 
 
                                                              
                                      On each centimeter, depending the type of sheet, we can find 5 to 50 lens
                                       with different depth from 1/10 mm to a few mm.
                                      The following drawing explains you how each lens with a very small magnifying glass
                                      changing the way of light rays coming from a photography point onto a focal plan
                                      to a one-way direction where they can be seen.
 
 
                                                                      
                                      Finally, the photography is composed of differents parts of each picture,
                                      one for each angle of vision.
                                      For this process Génération 3D uses a succession of 20 pictures interlaced.
